Dog Walks In Dovedale

I thought I would share a few photos from yesterday’s walk in Dovedale, in the Derbyshire Peak District.  It’s one of our favourite walks, and one that Vinnie can still do despite his arthritis.

We had a lovely time.  The weather was perfect.  However 10 minutes out of the car Arwen managed to find some really fresh fox poo, and became ‘stinky puppy’ for the rest of the walk.  I had to tell people not to touch her, which is a shame because she adores a fuss.

It's definitely a 'Narrow Dale'

Coffee and cakes. A well earned snack at the Charles Cotton Hotel, Hartington (dogs allowed). The victoria sponge was for the kids and I had the scone.

I’ll get these and lots more pictures loaded on some gallery pages soon!

Looks like it was a grand day – wish I’d been there too!

  • My wife and I like your blog post. You actually have a natural way of writing. Thanks a lot for posting and My wife and I look forward to reading your articles.

I like to write interesting articles about things that happen during my dog walks and ideas that conversations give me. For example this morning I ended up with three new article ideas – living with an older dog, an article about rescue centre rehoming policies, socialising dogs and also the Airedale terrier being an endangered breed in the UK. All in the space of 2 hours!

I love writing and find it very easy. I also try and write articles about choosing dogs or living with dogs that I think have value to everyone who is a dog lover or wants to get a dog. I’m not interested in just writing articles to get search engine rankings like some website owners. That would make things very boring! I write real articles for real people.
