Hypoallergenic & Non Shedding Dogs – New Breeds
Yesterday I found some new breeds to add into my list of non-shedding and hypoallergenic dogs. Great stuff – even more choice for you!
One is a definite addition – the Hairless Khala. This is a South American dog similar to the Peruvian Inca Orchid and Mexican Hairless, but has been recognised as a separate breed. As hairless and crested breeds are all really good for people with allergies, this went into my ‘definite’ list yesterday.
The other pure breed I found which is claimed to be non-shedding and hypoallergenic is the Polish Lowland Sheepdog. It’s a medium sized breed a bit like an Old English Sheepdog, but smaller in size with a slightly more wavy , slightly shorter and fluffier coat. It’s a really cute looking little thing! This is now in my list of’ possibles’. As it is a coated breed it must be verified by a kennel club to go into my ‘definite’ list. So far, it isn’t.
